About the reports

Use the SCSC RTW dashboard to explore stored weather and crop measurements. Each report shows its observation date in Central Time (America/Chicago). These are archived daily summaries, not live conditions.

Choose the view that fits your task

Stations: Search for a station and review its latest daily report. Select a measurement group to focus the display. Station report shows one station at a time; Compare rows shows matching stations together. Use Filters to change data status or sorting, and Reset to clear filters.

Map: Numbered circles group nearby stations. Select a circle to zoom in, then select a temperature marker to open station details. Marker colors describe the daily high temperature, not heat stress or data quality.

History: Choose a station, Daily or Weekly summary, and a start and end date. Select Show archived data to apply the search. Open Change report to revise a completed search. All-station searches allow up to 31 days; a single station allows up to 365 days.

Why a weekly report may show fewer than seven days

Weekly summaries follow calendar weeks, Monday through Sunday. A selected range that crosses weeks produces more than one report. For example, October 15–21, 2026 produces October 15–18 and October 19–21. Use Previous and Next to move between reports, or Compare rows to see the results together. The dates on each report identify the days included.

Read the measurements

High and Low (°F): Air temperature extremes. Rain (in): Rainfall in inches. ET (in): Evapotranspiration reported in inches.

DD60: Degree days using a 60°F base. Davis identifies an original station value. An alternate estimate identifies a replacement source; open Sources & coverage for its source and distance.

Mean CCT (°F): Mean crop canopy temperature. Heat stress is a separate classification. Weekly reports show the number of days in each classification. Check Sources & coverage before interpreting a partial report.

Solar average (W/m²): Average solar radiation. Solar energy (Wh/m²): Accumulated energy from observed hours. When hours are missing, the energy is a partial subtotal.

Heat exposure: Hours above 95°F and hours at or above 95°F use different thresholds. The ratio and percentage compare those counts. Mean excess describes the amount above the threshold. Not applicable means no qualifying hot hours; it is not a missing measurement.

Check data coverage before comparing

Complete: The report meets its coverage requirements. Partial: Some observations are missing, but available measurements remain usable. Unavailable: A measurement is missing or invalid; it must not be read as zero. Open Sources & coverage for observation counts and measurement availability.

Station dates can differ. Compare observation dates as well as values. The map’s location refresh time describes station coordinates, not when the weather was measured.
