Laser capture microdissection room of the PCML lab

Plant Cytogenomics and Microdissection Laboratory

The primary goal of the Plant Cytogenomics and Microdissection Laboratory (PCML) is to provide Texas A&M AgriLife and the Texas A&M AgriLife and Texas A&M University System affiliated students and researchers with services, hands-on training, and access to state-of-the art Fluorescent In-Situ Hybridization (FISH), Genomic In-Situ Hybridization (GISH), Oligonucleotide based FISH (Oligo-FISH) and Laser Capture Microdissection (LCM) in plants and other organisms. PCML services can help researchers explore and exploit new techniques and obtain preliminary data for external funded proposals. PCML training will be especially valuable to researchers new to molecular cytogenomic research. Non-system members are also welcome to access the services of the PCML.
