Facilities
The PCML is well-equipped for nuclear, mitotic, and meiotic molecular cytogenetic samples and DNA probes; automated slide scanning, brightfield, phase contrast, differential interferencecontrast (DIC) and fluorescent microscopic imaging; image analysis, karyotyping, and the generation of publication-quality images.
Lab equipment is as follows:
- Zeiss Axio-Imager A1 – brightfield and Nomarski optics, digital imaging
- Zeiss Axio-Imager D1 – brightfield, trinocular head (teaching microscope)
- Zeiss Axio-Imager M2 – brightfield and epifluorescence, digital imaging
- Zeiss Axio-Imager Z1 – with automated stage
- Zeiss PALM MicroBeam Laser Capture Microscope
